Saimi BOB at the All Breed Dog Show in Vantaa today! And I’m so proud and happy for Bono who won junior class and was 2nd best male with reserve CAC at his first official show.

Last weekend I did a trip to two shows in Sweden and Norway with Funatic Taittinger and his mom Funatic Vanity Fair.
In Swedish Winner Show we got class placements for both, oh and lots of rain. After the show we headed to Olso and in half way when the rain had stopped we did a pit stop and had a long walk in the forest. Best part of the day: Skumppa found me lots of Chantarelles. Well, at that point I was surely thinking we could have done this much closer to home in Finland… ;-)
Next day was much better: sunny weather and better results in the show ring, too. Skumppa took CAC, CACIB and BOS in Olso and he became also a Norwegian Champion and his mom Saimi took a nice placement in champion class. Too bad I wasn’t able to stay longer in Oslo but had to start driving back to Stockholm right after the breed judging. Had to hurry to the ferry back to Finland – and on Monday morning brisk and zappy at work…

Skumppa was on fire in Kuopio. On Saturday he won the Breed and took Group 1! The Best in Show final was on Sunday and after a good night sleep Skumppa shined also in BIS ring and placed 4th in the BIS final!
Also Saimi had a great weekend: on Saturday CACIB and BOS in Kuopio and on Sunday BOS in Saarijärvi.
What a FUNTASTIC weekend!

Juusto & Ninja participated the 4 days show circuit in Vejen, Denmark.
Juusto finished the titles Danish and Nordic Champion on Saturday. And the Danish title was so close for Ninja, too… At 7 years old she still moves and shows like a dream!

Second weekend in a row in the north, this time International Show in Tornio which was the second specialty show for Sennenhund breeds as well.
We had a fun and busy day. Nella took second place in junior class, Essi second place in open class and took reserve certificate, and Saimi, after a 9 month show break, took second place in champion class and was 3rd best bitch. We also presented BOB breeder group with Skumppa, Nella, Essi & Saimi.
Thank you all Funatics for participating! It was great to see you all again. And it was wonderful to see also some Tanner kids at the show. Keep up the good work!

Why Kangaroo Leather, you might ask.. Because it is known to be the strongest of all leathers.
Kangaroo is an extremely strong and durable leather that, with use, achieves a luxurious buttery softness not found in any other leather. Kangaroo leather does stretch in use but to prevent that the lead is braided around a strong cord.
