A little bit of bubbly in Paris

World Dog Show in Paris. Yes, that is a must go event of the year!
Two litters coming during the same week… hmmm.. mission impossible for myself. But Skumppa, Kaisa and Rituli decided to make the long trip to France. And it wasn’t a bad trip at all!

At the World Dog Show on Thursday Skumppa took second place in Champion class and then also reserve CACIB! So we can call him a vice world winner, right?!  ;-)
Absolutely wonderful result from such a big entry and among the top dogs in Europe.
At the French Winner Show on Friday Skumppa also took EXC2 in Champion class! Well done!!

Congrats Skumppa and family Kerman!
We must celebrate soon – with Taittinger of course :)

18.6.2011 Pärnu International

Natalia and her daughter Vera took Juusto and Morrison to Pärnu, Estonia this weekend. And not a bad Saturday for them at all!
Juusto took Best of Breed and finished his Estonian Champion title and Morris won open class and was 4th best female.
Congrats Natalia!!! Thank you Krista for showing Morris!

News from our girls in the US

While we were in Latvia for the weekend our American Funatics had a good weekend in the USA.
I got wonderful news from Colorado that Funatic True Blue Moon took Winners Bitch and Best of Winners on Saturday 11th June. Two more points to go.
True, keep up the good work!

Also Liina was at the show this past weekend and took her first two points!
On Sunday 12 June at the Skyline Kennel Club Funatic Nuthin’ But Fun took Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and BOS from Puppy class 9-12 months.
Well done Liina!

New International Champion: Funatic Roquefort

Natalia, Juusto & I took a weekend trip to Riga in Latvia and participated two CACIB shows there.
We had one mission for the weekend: to get the last CACIB for Juusto …OK and maybe some shopping, dining and wine, too.

On Saturday it was so hot and humid in the show grounds. Luckily the show was indoors but still it was tough for the dogs and for us humans, too.  Inspite of the heat Juusto showed beautifully and took 4th best male under Bela Siklosi. We had the pleasure to meet one of Skumppa‘s daughters, Milbu Ice Queen, who finished her LV JCh. title the same day. Such a lovely young lady!
Thanks to the fun and relaxing night we had on Saturday we were in top shape on Sunday morning… Back to the show site and Juusto presented himself to perfection under Inese Pablaka who gave Juusto CAC, CACIB and Best of Breed.
Mission completed! This was the last needed CACIB for International Champion title and Juusto also finished the Latvian Champion title.

On our way home we stopped in a ravishing beach in Vitrupe and took some pics of our newest C.I.B Funatic Roquefort!

Natalia & Juusto, thanks again for the hilarious weekend! Juusto is such a gentleman and perfect travel buddy :)
