I’m thrilled to announce that we will have a very special guest at Funatic arriving in May 2010:

AKC/CKC Ch. Blumoon Tanzenite V Blackrock CD NDD

Tanner is #1 BMD 2009 in the USA (breed) and he is a multiple group winner and AOM winner.
In 2009 he also received AKC Companion Dog title in obedience and the BMDCA Novice Draft Dog title and became BMDCA Versatility Dog.

We have a new champion: FI CH, BH Funatic Roquefort!!!
Juusto took his last CAC today at the Winter Dog Show in Turku. Never thought Juusto would be the first one to finish the title in my R litter but it has been quite a ride since last autumn! He is #6 champion offspring to our Raisa!

…And next back to Obedience rings, right Natalia ;-)

2009 Breed Standings are published

Finnish breed club has announced the 2009 Breed Standings.
I couldn’t be happier for team Funatic!
Sisters Saimi & Ninja did great in the shows in 2009, and also Saimi’s daughter Senna collected nice points mainly from junior classes, and Skumppa holded his position in top-10. I’m especially proud for my Saimi who was only shown five times during April-June and still holded her status in top-3 until the end! Amazing! …and the icing on the cake: Funatic was the #2 breeder of the year :)

Great start for the new year! Funatic Roquefort took his second CAC and Best of Breed today in Lahti. It was a nice entry of 49 Bernese. Congrats to Natalia on your smart and handsome Mr. Cheese! Waiting for the champagne… ;-)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I wish all the best for 2010!

Thank You team Funatic for the wonderful 2009! During the year Funatics have received great results both in conformation and in performance rings. I want to thank my super puppy people for all their efforts and devotion to their wonderful dogs. Keep up the GREAT work!

It seems the coming year 2010 will be very exciting for Funatic. I am thrilled to announce that we will have a new guest star arriving…. in May 2010!!!
During his stay he will date couple of our girls and he will surely be seen in the Scandinavian and Baltic show rings. Stay tuned!

Winner Shows in Helsinki

I’m always super excited about this last show weekend of the year in Finland as this is THE show weekend of the year where you can see some of the most stunning pure bred dogs in all breeds. …and you can do some serious shopping, too. Ask my friend Natalia ;-) This year we had the pleasure of having two title shows during one weekend; Finnish Winner Show on Saturday and Nordic Winner Show on Sunday.

Thank you Luisa, Senna, Ronja, Juusto, Skumppa for showing so well during the weekend!

Over two months have passed since I have been at any dog show. WOW! Must be some kind of a record for myself. It was fun to be in the ring with Senna again after a while. I guess she never has a dull moment – always such a happy gal that she is! Skumppa was also at the show looking good and trying to charm the ladies as always ;)
It was great to see some of our Cuba’s kids; Riccarron Quess Why won junior class and Valkeakoivun Emerentia took second place in intermediate class after Senna. Also a Skumppa daughter Fridkullas Xanadu was shown in intermediate class and she took 3rd place. Well done all!

Huge congrats to Juusto and Natalia for winning their first Certificate in Hämeenlinna! You did it!!!
Juusto won open class, and was best male, took CAC and Best of Opposite from the big entry of 71 Bernese.
